  • Specialist Clinician - Children's Services (Christchurch)

    Stop is looking for a Specialist Clinician in the Children's Service, to join our Christchurch team. The role will be between 32-40 hours per week.

    This position involves the delivery of therapeutic assessment and intervention for children who have been referred for concerning sexual behaviour.

    You will help children and their parents/caregivers and schools to gain the understanding, knowledge, and relevant skills to prevent further concerning sexualised behaviour from occurring. 

    The role will report to the Team Leader - Children's Services and you will have proven experience and skills in therapeutic work with children.

    You will join a team that supports and collaborates together to achieve our purpose: "A community free from sexual harm: He hapori waatea taitookai".

  • People and Culture Advisor

    Stop is looking for a part-time People & Culture Advisor to support our Leadership Team and staff and drive P&C initiatives. The role will be 24 hours per week.

    A key role in our organisation, you will report directly to the Clinical Quality Manager but work closely with the Leadership Team. You will be responsible for the hands-on delivery of both strategic and operational HR activities for our Christchurch and Regional offices. If you like making a difference and working as a team, then this role is for you.

    • Partner with our Leadership Team to progress our organisational objectives and projects.
    • Provide generalist HR support and advice on a wide range of Human Resource management matters.
    • Contribute to building leadership capability.
    • Support leaders in relation to talent management and succession planning.
    • Support and guide the implementation of the People and Culture strategy.
    • Ensure our training and development is a key focus.
    • Work with the Leadership Team to manage annual/regular HR processes and implement HR programs, projects, and systems efficiently and effectively.

  • Community Navigator - Adult Service (Christchurch)

    Stop is looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference in people's lives and our community. The role will be 32 hours per week and will support the team towards achieving our vision: He hapori waatea taitookai - A community free from sexual harm.

    This is a highly valued position within the Adult Services tea. It requires someone who is reliable with clear and confident communication skills, a clear understanding of boundaries with the clients we work with, and good time management skills. 

    The role involves supporting clients and their whanau to gain access to wider social services support, increasing their social and community networks, as well as building prosocial connections. It will also involve working alongside clients to enter employment and obtain training opportunities. 

    You will advocate for clients in their interactions with other social service organisations (such as Work & Income NZ) and other agencies within the wider community. 

    The role will report to the Team Leader - Adult Services and will join a supportive and collaborative team.
